This role develops critical system integrations, supports digital banking platforms, and enables internal development capabilities to reduce reliance on third-party vendors. This position operates within a controlled SDLC and must adhere to strict change management, segregation of duties, and documentation standards required in a regulated banking environment.   Primary Responsibilities: The duties listed below are some of the duties that may be assigned and may not include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform. Design and develop APIs for internal systems and third-party integrations Build and maintain integration architecture supporting digital banking and core platforms Support replacement of legacy integration frameworks with scalable solutions Participate in full SDLC lifecycle including development, testing, and deployment Ensure all code is reviewed, approved, and documented prior to release Collaborate with ETL/BI team to integrate data pipelines and reporting systems Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to integrations and APIs Maintain detailed technical documentation and system architecture diagrams Supervisory Responsibilities None Qualifications: Skills and Qualifications: These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines.   5+ years of software development experience Strong experience with API development (REST/SOAP) Proficiency in modern programming languages and database design Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines Understanding of secure coding practices and regulated environments Cloud experience (AWS/Azure), Docker, or Kubernetes Banking or fintech development experience Experience with digital banking platforms (Q2 strongly preferred) Experience replacing legacy integration systems Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
