Senior SAP MM Consultant (m/w/d) – S/4HANA Rollout (Freelance, 100% Remote)

For our client, an internationally operating life sciences manufacturing company headquartered in the DACH region, we are looking for a Senior SAP MM Consultant (m/f/d) for a global S/4HANA rollout on a freelance basis.

Your Impact

You take hands-on ownership of the SAP MM workstream within a multi-site S/4HANA transformation – driving the template design and steering it through to site implementation – in a distributed R/3-to-S/4 system landscape.

Your Tasks

• Ownership and direction of the SAP MM workstream, driving the global procurement template through to local rollout

• Design, configuration and optimization of end-to-end MM processes – including release strategies, pricing procedures and special procurement (subcontracting, vendor consignment)

• Integration of SAP MM with FI/CO, EWM and QM

• Troubleshooting of complex issues incl. debugging, IDoc and intercompany (IC) process analysis

• Testing, deployment support, and documentation/change management via SAP Solution Manager

Your Talent

• Senior-level hands-on SAP MM experience across multiple implementation and rollout projects, incl. hands-on R/3-to-S/4HANA migration in distributed landscapes

• Track record of building global templates, with the confidence to guide a team and set solution direction

• Deep expertise in end-to-end procurement, release strategies, special procurement (subcontracting, consignment) and pricing

• Strong MM integration knowledge with FI/CO, EWM and QM, incl. SAP debugging

• Experience with IDocs, intercompany processes and SAP Solution Manager

• Independent, senior consulting approach; life sciences / pharma experience a strong plus
