What you will be doing:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Rust and TypeScript to design, develop, and maintain reliable, scalable software systems. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across systems-level and application-level development, translating technical requirements into production-ready solutions.

This role requires strong engineering fundamentals, independent problem-solving, and the ability to contribute to architectural and technical decisions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.

• Strong, hands-on experience developing production applications with Rust.

• Experience with Node.js and modern TypeScript frameworks or runtimes.

• Solid understanding of software architecture, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.

• Experience building and consuming APIs and distributed services.

• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and concurrency concepts.

• Experience with automated testing and modern software development practices.

• Proficiency with Git and collaborative software development workflows.

• Experience troubleshooting and optimizing production systems.

• Experience with Tokio, Axum, Actix Web, or other Rust frameworks.

• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, or other relational and NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with Docker and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Experience designing distributed systems or event-driven architectures.

• Familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure automation.

• Experience with observability tools, logging, metrics, and tracing.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects

• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate, diagram and document complex engineering concepts.
