Join our Technology team as a Senior QA Engineer, working within a cross-functional team to analyse, plan and test software solutions in line with our client's standards and guidelines.

What You'll Do
  • Analyse, plan and execute software testing in line with our client's standards and guidelines.
  • Design and run functional and automated test suites using Playwright with TypeScript.
  • Test and validate distributed systems across the technology stack.
  • Manage test cases and track results using tools such as X-Ray.
  • Perform API testing with Postman.
  • Clearly articulate issues, risks and test results to the wider team.
  • Collaborate within a cross-functional team, bringing strong time management and root-cause problem-solving.
What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing or QA engineering.
  • Proven experience in functional testing and test automation using Playwright with TypeScript.
  • Experience analysing and testing distributed systems.
  • Experience with test case management tools, ideally X-Ray.
  • Hands-on API testing experience with Postman.
  • Ability to articulate issues, risks and test results clearly and concisely, with strong oral and written communication.
  • Detail-oriented, highly self-motivated, proactive, resourceful and decisive, with a positive attitude.
  • Strong time management, problem-solving and root-cause identification skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a positive, can-do approach to teamwork.
Nice to Have
  • Data analysis or experience working with data-intensive systems.
  • Experience working with databases.
  • Load testing experience.
  • Sprint or Kanban experience.
  • Experience with AI-assisted tooling for test generation and analysis, such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.

Candidates must be based in Sri Lanka.
