Our client is a leading health technology company focused on improving access to quality healthcare across Africa by digitizing and strengthening pharmaceutical supply chains and they are are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead expansion for their Logistics Management Information System (LMIS), focusing on Health Facilities.
Job Summary
In this role, you will own the health facility-specific initiatives, which include integrating with partners, handling complex data flows, and ensuring a seamless rollout of new features. You will work closely with a cross-functional squad including a Solution Architect, Engineers, and a Project Manager to drive product discovery, roadmap execution, and stakeholder alignment.
Responsibilities
● Define product goals and deliverables based on customer feedback.
● Lead the definition and execution of the product roadmap that aligns with the product
strategy and project objectives.
● Collaborate with stakeholders, including external partners, users, and engineering teams, to gather requirements and prioritize product features
● Drive product development through the entire lifecycle, from concept to launch and training.
● Develop and maintain product documentation, including specifications, user guides and release plans.
● Work closely with other product managers to align roadmaps and identify synergies between your project and the core product.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record of 5+ years of experience in product management, including managing big projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable product plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience driving results in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Agile /Lean methodologies and product management.
- Understanding of the healthcare industry and supply chain operations preferred.
This is a full-time, remote position and requires periodic travel within Nigeria and potentially west Africa for stakeholder meetings, workshops, and on-site collaboration. This job requires traveling to Rwanda.
