Who You Are

You are an experienced and passionate B2B Senior Product Manager with a proven track record of leading strategy, roadmap, and delivery in the Build Acceleration space. You have a deep background in enterprise development productivity engineering. 

In an era where developer and AI Agent productivity relies heavily on deep data insights, you understand how to extract actionable intelligence from complex, high-volume telemetry. You will own this space: understanding customer needs, market trends, and the evolving intersection of enterprise infrastructure efficiency, developer and AI agent productivity, and AI-driven software delivery. You will work closely with engineering, product design, sales, marketing, and support teams – and increasingly with AI-native workflows – to ensure the successful development and adoption of our solutions.

Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Vision:
• Define and articulate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Develocity's Build Acceleration capabilities.
• Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify opportunities and unmet needs cloud, hybrid, and  on-premises deployments.
• Develop business cases for new product initiatives with high velocity.
• AI Integration:
• Collaborate with the AI strategy team to identify opportunities where Develocity's unique data and domain expertise can power AI-driven capabilities 
• Stay current with the rapidly evolving AI tooling landscape and evaluate how LLMs, coding agents, and agentic workflows impact developer productivity and telemetry needs.
• Requirements & Prioritization:
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize product requirements, ensuring you have considered input from all stakeholders, including customers, sales, support, and engineering.
• Translate high-level business requirements into prioritized functional requirements.
• Be able to make pragmatic roadmap priority decisions.
• Engineering:
• Closely participate with engineering teams to ensure the successful development and deployment of the product
• Focus on Why, What and understand How
• Go to market:
• Work with sales and marketing to develop go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and messaging. 
• Partner with Presales and Solution Engineer to develop go-to-market materials to support the enterprise sales motion, such as presentations, demo environments and scenarios, and product-specific roadmaps.
• Partner with customer support to understand customer pain points and inform product improvements and bug fixes.
• Customer & Market Advocacy:
• Serve as the internal and external evangelist for your products, presenting to customers, partners, and conferences.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
• Actively engage with industry standards bodies and communities around Build Acceleration technologies

Minimum Qualifications

• Deep, practical domain knowledge of Build Acceleration.
• Extensive experience in product management in a B2B context.
• Prior experience as a software engineer or a computer science degree.
• A “Product Journey" and “Customer Journey” mindset with a deep desire to deploy impactful solutions.
• Expert knowledge of managing a pragmatic product roadmap
• Familiarity and technical understanding of some, not necessarily all, 
• Domain knowledge in CI/CD practices.
• Domain knowledge in DevOps
• Domain knowledge of build tools for Java, Javascript and Python languages
• Observability tooling (Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to inform product decisions.
• Outstanding communication skills to effectively interact with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and bring clarity to complex and rapidly evolving domains.
• Demonstrated ability to lead with data, utilize diplomacy, and exert influence to drive outcomes across cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with building AI-powered products, agentic workflows, or LLM-based tooling. 
• Domain knowledge of Caching technology and/or Build Acceleration mechanisms.
