About the role:
Foundation Partners is partnering with a high-growth consumer business to hire a Senior Product Designer who will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of its digital customer experience.
Our client has built a strong market position through a relentless focus on customer experience, product innovation and digital growth. With an ambitious roadmap ahead and continued investment in technology, they are looking for an experienced Product Designer to help create engaging, intuitive and commercially impactful customer journeys across their eCommerce platform.

You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, Data and Commercial stakeholders to influence strategy, shape product direction and deliver experiences that drive measurable outcomes across acquisition, conversion, retention and customer lifetime value.
The role would suit someone who enjoys operating in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable navigating ambiguity and is passionate about creating customer experiences that are both beautifully crafted and commercially effective.
What you'll be doing:
As Senior Product Designer, you'll own the design process from discovery through to delivery and optimisation. You'll be a strategic partner to Product leadership, helping to identify customer problems, validate opportunities and create solutions that improve both customer outcomes and business performance.
Working across key customer-facing experiences, you'll use research, experimentation and behavioural insights to inform decision-making and continuously improve the customer journey.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role with significant ownership and influence across the product organisation.
What you'll own:
  • Own end-to-end product design for strategic customer-facing initiatives.

  • Design intuitive and engaging eCommerce experiences across web and mobile platforms

  • Improve customer acquisition, conversion, retention and engagement through thoughtful, data-informed design.

  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Data Analysts and Commercial teams to define and deliver solutions.

  • Conduct customer research, usability testing and journey mapping to uncover opportunities and validate ideas.

  • Use quantitative and qualitative insights to inform design decisions and prioritisation.

  • Rapidly prototype, test and iterate solutions in a fast-moving environment.

  • Raise the bar for visual design, interaction design and overall product quality.

  • Contribute to design systems, standards and best practices.

  • Proactively identify customer problems and growth opportunities.

  • Support experimentation and optimisation initiatives through A/B testing and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For
  • Significant experience in Product Design within a B2C, eCommerce, marketplace, subscription or consumer technology environment

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating customer-centric design thinking and measurable business impact.

  • Proven experience designing digital products that drive engagement, conversion and retention.

  • Strong understanding of customer journeys, behavioural design principles and conversion optimisation.

  • Excellent visual design skills, including typography, layout, hierarchy and interaction design.

  • Commercial awareness with the ability to connect design decisions to business outcomes and growth metrics.

  • Experience leveraging customer research, analytics and experimentation to inform product decisions.

  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams.

  • A bias toward action, learning and continuous iteration.

  • Comfortable working autonomously while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

  • Interest in AI and emerging technologies, with practical experience using AI tools to enhance product design workflows.
