Senior Platform Engineer - Cloud AWS

Experience: 8-10 Years (including 4-5 years of recent AWS and Cloud-Native experience)

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and support our cloud-native commerce platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes or Amazon EKS, Microservices, DevOps, Automation, and SDLC practices, along with programming experience in Java or Python.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native platforms on AWS.
• Build and maintain Kubernetes-based microservices infrastructure.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Helm, and Groovy.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Terraform.
• Lead cloud migration, platform modernization, and disaster recovery initiatives.
• Implement security controls using Okta, Keycloak, OAuth, and cloud security best practices.
• Develop automation tools and scripts using Java and/or Python.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams throughout the SDLC.
• Build monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions for platform and application services.
• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis across the application and infrastructure stack.
