We are looking for a skilled Senior .NET Engineer to join the development team supporting mission‑critical applications for mortgage and consumer‑credit services. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to build, maintain, and enhance back‑end services, APIs, and scheduled processes that support legal‑tech workflows.

Our client is an established American leader with decades of experience designing comprehensive, cost‑effective legal and outsourcing solutions for the residential mortgage and consumer credit industry.

This is you

• 5+ years of .NET experience, with proficiency in C# across .NET Framework 4.8 and .NET (9+) development;

• Practical experience with Entity Framework;

• Strong SQL Server skills: complex queries, joins, CTEs, stored procedures, and query tuning;

• Hands‑on experience with ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Web API; experience building console/scheduled applications in production;

• Comfortable using AI coding tools (such as Claude Code or similar AI code assistants) as part of daily development;

• Familiar with dependency injection using Unity and Microsoft DI patterns;

• Experience deploying and managing applications on IIS and on‑prem infrastructure;

• Comfortable working in and improving legacy codebases;

• English level - Upper‑intermediate or higher;

• Ability to work US Eastern Time (EST) hours.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience integrating third‑party APIs and custom client integrations;

• Background in legal‑tech, service‑of‑process, mortgage, or adjacent domains;

• Experience with document and PDF processing (generation, merging, manipulation);

• Hands‑on experience with Azure services such as DevOps, Application Insights, and Key Vault.

This is your role

• Design, implement, test, and maintain .NET applications;

• Build and maintain data layers with Entity Framework and direct SQL Server code;

• Write and optimize complex SQL; tune DB performance;

• Integrate third‑party APIs and custom client services securely and reliably;

• Apply dependency injection for modular, testable code;

• Deploy and troubleshoot apps on IIS and on‑prem environments;

• Use logging and telemetry (App Insights or similar) to monitor production;

• Improve legacy code for readability, testability, and maintainability;

• Use AI coding assistants responsibly to boost productivity and validate outputs.
