Job Summary
We’re seeking a highly skilled Senior Multi-Media Designer with a strong graphic design and brand emphasis to join our in-house Creative Marketing Studio.
While the formal title is Senior Multi-Media Designer, this role is ideal for a senior-level graphic designer who brings exceptional design craft, strong conceptual thinking and a passion for building brands through typography, color, layout, visual systems and compelling storytelling.
This hands-on role will help advance our brand’s visual identity across print, digital, campaign, environmental and integrated marketing channels. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio, refined creative judgment, excellent attention to detail and the ability to translate strategy into polished, audience-centered design. They are collaborative, concept-driven and energized by the opportunity to help shape how our brand shows up in the world.
The right candidate will partner closely with writers, strategists, marketers and creative team members to create high-impact creative work, steward brand standards, develop cohesive cross-channel experiences and mentor others through design excellence.
Experience with digital, motion or multimedia platforms is valuable, but exceptional graphic design skill, brand sensibility and visual problem-solving are the core priorities for this role. Prior health care marketing experience is not required. We welcome candidates from agency, in-house, nonprofit, corporate, retail, marketing/product development, education or other brand-building environments who bring strong graphic design expertise and a standout portfolio.

What you’ll do
Lead the creative development and visual execution of enterprise-level marketing campaigns and brand initiatives across digital, print, social media, video/motion, and experiential platforms. Influence cross-functional collaboration by partnering with copywriters, marketers, and business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into powerful creative solutions. Drive the continuous evolution of the brand’s visual identity system, ensuring scalability, innovation, and adherence across all touchpoints. Establish and maintain design governance processes, including quality control, brand standards, and best practices across the organization. Prepare and oversee the creation of accurate, production-ready files for both digital publication and traditional print distribution, ensuring technical precision. Lead the development of scalable creative systems, templates, and workflows to maximize efficiency while preserving brand integrity. Research and introduce new creative tools, technologies, and design innovations to keep the organization at the forefront of industry trends. Present creative work to executive stakeholders with strategic rationale, elevating the perception and role of creative within the enterprise. Serve as a creative mentor and coach to junior and mid-level designers, building design capabilities and fostering a culture of creative excellence and continuous improvement. Provide strategic creative counsel to senior marketing and business leaders to ensure visual solutions align with brand strategy and organizational goals.
What you need
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Portfolio demonstrating advanced conceptual and design thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex ideas into clear, compelling visual storytelling and communications. Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); familiarity with motion graphics/video (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut) or UX/UI tools (Figma) highly desirable. Exceptional visual storytelling, typography, and layout expertise applied across multiple media formats. Exceptional command of brand identity systems, campaign development, and omnichannel marketing strategies. Confident communicator with the ability to influence and lead creative discussions with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Skilled in mentoring, coaching, and developing design talent to build a high-performing creative team. Proven ability to lead projects independently, making high-impact decisions that drive organizational brand performance.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Videography, or a related field like Photography, Fine Art or Communications is required. In lieu of a degree, experience in an agency, marketing department or freelance work may suffice. Minimum of 8+ years of progressive professional design experience, with demonstrated success leading projects within an agency or in-house creative environment. Proven experience advising senior leadership, managing high-profile creative initiatives, and mentoring junior designers. Experience working in or adjacent to highly regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, financial services) preferred.
