Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Hyland Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Consultant with deep expertise in Hyland OnBase, Perceptive Content (formerly ImageNow), document imaging, workflow automation, records management, integrations, and enterprise content strategy.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, implementing, upgrading, administering, and supporting Hyland solutions within large organizations, particularly in Higher Education, Healthcare, Government, or Enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

Design and implement enterprise content management solutions using:

-Hyland OnBase
-Perceptive Content
-ImageNow
-Develop ECM strategies, governance frameworks, and content lifecycle management processes.
-Design scalable document management, workflow, and records retention architectures.

Implementation & Administration

Install, configure, and administer Hyland platforms.
Configure:
-Document Types
-Keywords
-Queues
-Workflow Processes
-Capture Profiles
-Security Groups
-Retention Policies
-Perform system upgrades, migrations, and platform optimization.

Workflow & Process Automation

Build and support business workflows.
Automate:
-Accounts Payable
-Human Resources
-Student Records
-Admissions
-Financial Aid
-Contracts Management
-Procurement
-Develop forms, approval routing, and exception handling processes.

Integration Development

Integrate Hyland solutions with:
-Ellucian Banner
-Ellucian Colleague
-PeopleSoft
-Workday
-Salesforce
-ERP, SIS, CRM, and HRIS platforms
-Develop integrations using:
-REST APIs
-SOAP Services
-SQL
-ETL tools
-Middleware platforms

Data Migration & Conversion

-Lead migrations from legacy ECM systems.
-Convert document repositories and metadata structures.
-Validate data quality and reconciliation.

Support & Optimization

-Troubleshoot system issues and performance bottlenecks.
-Conduct root-cause analysis.
-Develop operational documentation and support procedures.
-Mentor junior administrators and developers.

Experience

-5+ years of hands-on experience with Hyland ECM solutions.
-3+ years administering Perceptive Content / ImageNow environments.
-Experience implementing enterprise workflow solutions.
-Experience with document imaging and capture technologies.
-Experience supporting mission-critical production environments.
