Maximus is looking for a Senior Growth Product Manager.

Company: Maximus | Location: Remote (US) | Reports to: Head of Product | Type: Full-time

About Maximus

Maximus (https://www.maximustribe.com/) is a mission-driven consumer performance medicine telehealth company that provides men and women with content, community, and clinical support to optimize their health, wellness, and hormones. Maximus has achieved profitability and 8-figure ARR with a strong cash position. We have raised $15M from top Silicon Valley VCs such as Founders Fund and 8VC as well as leading angel investors and operators from companies like Bulletproof, Tinder, Coinbase, Daily Stoic, and Shopify.

About the Role

This is a growth role with real surface area and real resources behind it.

You get a dedicated engineering pod, an embedded designer, a marketing team spending a meaningful budget you'll partner with daily, and direct access to leadership. You will own the conversion product — the get-started flow, eligibility and questionnaire experience, plan selection, payment methods, and checkout — across Testosterone, Weight Loss, and every protocol we launch. You'll play a critical role in executing strategies around organic growth, referral programs, abandonment reclamation, and average order value.

This role spans several growth domains at once, with the autonomy to sequence them yourself, budget for the AI and experimentation tooling you need, and a real voice in how we build it. We expect this role to operate AI-first — using it to compress the cycle from idea to live test and to ship more experiments than a team our size otherwise could.

We're looking for someone who has run this before at a DTC subscription business at a meaningful scale. Someone with a powerful voice and a game plan that is centered around data and buyer psychology. You'll set the testing agenda, uphold the fundamentals across every flow we own, and iterate well past market par.

You will report to the Head of Product and lead a dedicated engineering pod aligned to our Acquisition task force. This is a senior IC role with full ownership of the conversion and organic growth roadmap.

What You'll Do

Own the conversion product

  • Own the get-started flow, eligibility and questionnaire experience, plan selection, payment methods, and checkout across every protocol

  • Uphold the fundamentals at a high bar everywhere we own the experience: form friction, step sequencing, mobile checkout, page performance, trust signals, error and edge-case handling

  • You'll execute pricing strategy downstream in the funnel and have latitude to propose and run your own promotions, backed by test design and the economics behind them

  • Own payment method strategy, including the platform and infrastructure decisions that come with it, in close collaboration with engineering and product leadership

  • Set and own the acquisition product roadmap — the sequenced bets that ladder up to the company's growth objectives — built in close partnership with Marketing so product and channel strategy compound rather than run in parallel

Build strategy by protocol, not one-size-fits-all

  • Develop distinct growth strategies by service line. What it takes to win in Testosterone is not what it takes to win in GLP-1 — different personas, different objections, different blockers, different economics

  • Know these audiences well enough to argue about them, and sequence work by where the leverage actually is rather than applying a single template across the portfolio

  • Marketing owns advertising, landing pages and channel strategy. You own the flow experience from entry through purchase. Continuity across that handoff is a shared working requirement — the promise in the ad, the promise on the lander, and the experience in the flow should hold together as one story, and neither team can deliver that alone

Own the platform and the tooling case

  • Use modern AI tooling to compress the cycle from idea to live test, and raise the ceiling on what our team can ship without a full engineering cycle for every variant

  • Make the case for the funnel, experimentation and analytics stack we should be investing in, and drive vendor evaluation and selection with engineering. This role is expected to shape the platform, not inherit it

  • Push for scalability and iteration speed as first-class outcomes, with the judgment to balance quality against velocity rather than trading one away entirely

Drive AOV and think like an operator

  • Drive average order value through the mechanics you control at the point of purchase: plan mix and ordering, longer-duration adoption, add-on attach, and how bundles are presented in the flow

  • Build the in-flow and at-checkout experiences that move customers up the ladder without hurting conversion, and know how to measure both at once

  • Work closely with finance on the economics behind the work — LTV, LTV:CAC, payback period, contribution margin. You should be able to come to finance with a test proposal, a budget ask, and clear success criteria, and defend all three

  • Optimize for durable, scalable growth rather than short-horizon conversion wins

Run experimentation at scale

  • Own the testing roadmap and cadence, brief through readout, with a real evidence standard: power, sample size, stopping rules, guardrail metrics

  • Increase experiment throughput as a deliverable in its own right — more shots on goal, quarter over quarter

  • Build the practices that make experiment results trustworthy and reusable, so learnings compound instead of getting re-litigated

Partner with marketing on continuity

  • Partner closely with Marketing so the journey holds together end to end: the claim in the ad matches the landing page, which matches what a prospect sees in the flow — same promise, same offer, and an experience that carries their context forward rather than starting from scratch

  • Work closely with marketing and creative so the promise in the ad, the promise on the lander, and the experience in the flow are one continuous story

  • Partner on traffic quality and attribution so we can distinguish spend that produces customers from spend that produces clicks

Grow organic and reclaim what we lose

  • Own organic net-new customer growth as a product mandate: discoverability, gifting, and household expansion

  • Own the referral program as a product, not a campaign

  • Own cart and flow abandonment reclamation: recovery experiences, triggered comms, and the re-entry flow

What Success Looks Like

Growth that scales and holds its economics. You'll be accountable for:

  • New customer growth that stays efficient — because volume that comes at the cost of unit economics isn't growth we can build on

  • Average order value — because how much a customer commits to at purchase shapes everything downstream, from payback period to retention

  • Organic acquisition — because the least expensive customer is the one who came to us directly, and that channel compounds

  • Conversion through the flows we own — because every point of friction between interest and purchase is paid for twice, once in media and once in lost revenue

  • Reclamation of abandoned carts and incomplete flows — because these are the highest-intent people we have, and most companies leave them on the table

  • A growth practice that outlasts any single quarter — the strategy, the experimentation discipline, and the platform that make the above repeatable

What You'll Bring

  • 6+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years owning a consumer conversion funnel with direct revenue accountability

  • You've run this playbook before at a DTC subscription business at meaningful paid spend, and you're motivated by applying it across several domains at once

  • A track record on specific funnel and AOV metrics you can speak to with real numbers — what moved, what didn't, and what you took from the ones that didn't

  • Deep experimentation rigor: you write your own queries, build your own dashboards, and are fluent in Amplitude. You understand significance and sample size well enough to argue about them, and you're comfortable exploring in a BI tool like Looker

  • Commercial fluency: LTV, LTV:CAC, payback period and contribution margin are part of how you frame work, not something finance hands you afterward

  • Fluency with modern funnel and AI tooling, a real opinion on how to compress the cycle from idea to live test, and experience making the case for platform investment rather than waiting to be handed a stack

  • Existing playbooks for referral and abandonment reclamation specifically — both are named priorities

  • Fluency in paid acquisition mechanics: CAC, marginal efficiency on incremental spend, and how upstream creative shapes what's possible downstream

  • A history of working shoulder-to-shoulder with marketing and creative teams. This role lives at that seam

  • Excellent written communication; our culture runs on clear documents and explicit tradeoffs

  • Nice to have: telehealth, regulated consumer, or another category where clinical eligibility and compliance shape the funnel

Who You Are

You have strong opinions about funnels and you hold them loosely when the data disagrees. You're comfortable owning a number leadership watches weekly. You'd rather run six well-designed tests this quarter than one perfect one. You know the difference between a growth hack and a growth system, and you're building the second.

Relentlessly resourceful. Highly proactive, doesn't quit, finds solutions with little guidance. Strong bias for action and comfort in ambiguity with a high degree of autonomy.

Passion for men's health and development. Genuine interest in helping men develop a healthy masculinity, and personal investment in health optimization — diet, exercise, sleep, focus, relationships.

World-Class Benefits

  • Full Suite: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance

  • Flexible vacation/time-off policies

  • Liquidity of options whenever available

  • Extended options exercise window for loyal employees (3 months for every year of service; e.g. 1 year for 4+ year employees)
