AI Summary

Own the full delivery flow, including sequencing, prioritization, and release timelines across mobile, backend, analytics, and QA. Shape the product roadmap by translating goals into actionable plans and coordinating with founder-led teams.

About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager to own how our mobile product gets built and shipped. This role sits at the intersection of product delivery and technical coordination — equally responsible for keeping a senior, founder-led team aligned and for ensuring that what we build actually ships on time, in the right order, at the right quality. You will own the full delivery flow: sequencing, prioritization, dependency resolution, and the release timeline across mobile, backend, analytics, and QA. You'll have a real say in what we build next alongside the CEO and Chief Creative Officer, and you'll bring the standing to make prioritization calls stick. The ideal candidate has shipped consumer mobile products on iOS and Android in a startup or founder-led environment, brings genuine product judgment — not just process management — and is confident enough to push back when something doesn't make sense.

Success in the first 3–6 months means:

  • Run a clear-eyed audit of the current delivery process and identify the highest-priority gaps in sequencing, communication, and release coordination

  • Own and maintain a prioritized, sequenced backlog that the engineering, data, and growth teams can actually work from

  • Establish a sustainable release rhythm — sprint planning, WIP discipline, and dependency mapping that keeps the team moving without becoming a bottleneck

  • Build a strong working relationship with the CEO, Engineering Lead, Head of Growth, and Data Lead through proactive, clear communication

  • Take ownership of at least one meaningful product or roadmap initiative from scoping through to shipment

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full delivery flow — sequencing, prioritization, WIP limits, dependency resolution, and the release timeline across mobile, backend, analytics, and QA

  • Shape the product roadmap by researching feature ideas, weighing effort against impact, and owning a prioritized pipeline of what's next

  • Translate product goals into actionable plans and pull in the right engineering, data, or growth owner when needed — without becoming the bottleneck

  • Set priorities and hold a senior, founder-led team to them; bring the standing and judgment to close open decisions

  • Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives with a focus on shipping — not process for its own sake

  • Communicate clearly and proactively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including founders

  • Coordinate external platform partnerships where relevant (App Store, Play Store, third-party integrations)

Requirements

  • 3–4+ years producing or program-managing shipped consumer mobile apps on both iOS and Android — not one or the other

  • Hands-on agile delivery: sprint planning, backlog grooming, WIP discipline, dependency mapping, and release coordination across mobile, backend, analytics, and QA

  • Fluent in Jira — you live in it, not just report from it

  • Experience shipping products where backend, mobile, and analytics have to reconcile

  • Strong product judgment — can run discovery, write specs, and make prioritization calls, not only track them

  • The confidence to set priorities, say no when needed, and challenge founders respectfully when it serves the product

  • C2 English — direct, daily communication with US-based founders and a distributed team

  • Americas time zone required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in creative tools, games, or family/kids consumer apps

  • Experience in an experimentation-led org (A/B testing, Amplitude or similar)

  • Technical background (software engineering, data, or equivalent) — a strong plus given the team makeup

  • Experience coordinating external platform partnerships

  • Spanish-speaking
