GTO Wizard is the worldwide leader in training and education for serious poker players. We use AI to provide GTO solutions in seconds with comprehensive coverage of poker situations. We're expanding into casual poker gameplay for play money on the web and in mobile apps. Our team of under 100 people works fully remotely on a Central European Timezone schedule.

About the Role

The Senior Game Artist will own 2D art and motion for PokerArena, our mobile poker game. This includes all in-game 2D animations plus the cosmetics — static and animated — that we sell to our players. They will keep PokerArena's visual language consistent and distinctive as the game grows.

This role reports to the Chief Product Officer. It is an individual contributor role without direct reports.

In this role you will:

• Create all of PokerArena's in-game 2D animations.

• Design and produce cosmetics (static and 2D animation) sold to our players.

• Maintain a consistent, high-quality visual language across the game.

• Use AI tooling as a daily part of your work.

• Achieve success through delivery rather than policy.

• 'Make the call', expressing our company preference for agency and action over excessive discussion, escalation, and delay.

• Contribute to an environment of rapid iteration: ship quickly and learn instead of analysis paralysis.

What you bring to GTO Wizard:

• At least 5 years experience creating 2D art and animation for shipped games.

• A portfolio demonstrating expert level 2D animation and motion design, ideally including monetized cosmetics.

• An understanding of poker at least to the level of a non-professional enthusiast

• Clear, professional English language communication skills (written and spoken).

• A proven history of delivery at pace.

• Experience with AI assistance.
