Senior Full Stack Developer (Node + React)

Role Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join their technology team. In this role, you will design and build scalable digital applications from the ground up using React and Node.js, while also creating the cloud infrastructure required to support them.

The position has a strong focus on agentic workflows, API development, third-party integrations, application security, accessibility, and production-ready engineering practices. You will collaborate with a distributed team of developers, QA professionals, and architects to research and solve complex technical challenges.

• Location: Fully remote position within LATAM.
• Contract Duration: Contract Duration: Fixed-term contract for six months, with the possibility of extension.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and develop full-stack applications from the ground up using React and Node.js.
  
• Build scalable application logic and cloud infrastructure to support digital products and agentic workflows.
  
• Design systems that enable autonomous agents to interact, make decisions, and execute tasks.
  
• Develop and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs that allow applications and services to communicate effectively.
  
• Build and integrate MCP-compatible REST and GraphQL APIs.
  
• Integrate third-party SaaS platforms and external services, including Microsoft Graph and social media APIs.
  
• Optimize website and application performance to ensure fast and efficient user experiences.
  
• Develop accessible user interfaces that comply with WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
  
• Apply security principles throughout the development lifecycle, including authentication, authorization, API key management, and access auditing.
  
• Implement functional and end-to-end automated tests using Jest and Cypress.
  
• Define service-level objectives and apply observability practices across production services, including logs, metrics, and distributed traces.
• Participate in technical research, solution design, and the resolution of complex engineering challenges.
  
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA professionals, architects, and other stakeholders throughout the complete development lifecycle.
  
• Create and maintain clear API documentation, interface contracts, and versioning standards.

What You’ll Bring

• At least five years of professional experience working with modern development frameworks and languages.
  
• Strong hands-on experience with React and Node.js.
  
• Ability to develop full-stack applications from scratch and deploy the infrastructure required to host them.
  
• Experience with AWS and Docker.
  
• Familiarity with AWS services such as ECS Fargate, Aurora, OpenSearch, S3, EventBridge, SQS, Cognito, and Bedrock.
  
• Experience integrating third-party SaaS tools and external APIs.
  
• Experience developing accessible interfaces that comply with WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
  
• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, API key management, and access audit trail patterns.
  
• Exposure to role-based and attribute-based access control models, including RBAC and ABAC.
  
• Experience delivering applications with functional and automated tests using Jest and Cypress.
  
• Experience developing server-side rendered applications using Next.js or Nuxt.js.
  
• Experience with GraphQL and Apollo.
  
• Experience building or integrating MCP-compatible REST or GraphQL APIs.
  
• Understanding of API interface contracts, versioning, and consumer documentation.
  
• Familiarity with service-level objectives and production observability practices.
  
• Experience building or consuming agentic workflows.
  
• Advanced English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with an international team.
  
• Strong ownership, initiative, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative, ego-free approach.

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Hands-on experience implementing structured LLM outputs through function or tool calling.
  
• Familiarity with LLM evaluation approaches, including golden test sets, LLM-as-judge pipelines, and prompt regression testing.
  
• Ability to define measurable metrics for evaluating AI output quality.
  
• Previous experience with AWS Bedrock or similar generative AI platforms.
  
• Experience integrating platforms such as CreatorIQ, Frame.io, Microsoft 365 Graph, or social media APIs.
  
• An innovative mindset and genuine interest in experimenting with emerging technologies.
  
• The ability to work independently while communicating proactively and knowing when to ask for support.
