The role involves owning features and bugs end-to-end, transforming product briefs into production-quality software. Responsibilities include working across the full stack, managing third-party integrations, and debugging complex cross-service issues.
Senior Full Stack Developer
(Full time remote position - Only from Pakistan)
About CrowdReply
CrowdReply is an AI search visibility platform and we help brands get recommended in AI models like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, Claude, etc. We're one of the fastest-growing platforms in the AI search visibility space, with 10,000+ brands already using the platform.
This role works across our core stack: TypeScript, Next.js, Node/Mongoose, MongoDB, Redis, Stripe, and Payload CMS.
We move fast and lean heavily on AI tooling (Cursor, Claude Code). You should already be doing the same.
Role Overview
We want a senior full-stack engineer who owns problems end-to-end. You'll be handed features, bugs, and product briefs and you'll turn them into shipped, production-quality software. We move fast and lean on AI tooling; you should too. This is a builder role for someone who thinks like an owner, not a ticket-taker.
This is a full-time engagement - no concurrent freelance or full-time work elsewhere.
What You'll Do
- Take features from a short brief to production, making sound scope and trade-off calls along the way
- Work across the whole stack: React/Next.js + TypeScript on the front end, Node.js APIs, MongoDB, Redis
- Own third-party integrations end-to-end: evaluate the API, design the integration, handle failure modes, monitor it in production
- Debug complex cross-service and data issues — fix root causes, not symptoms
- Write clean, typed code that follows existing patterns
- Communicate clearly and async; unblock yourself where reasonable
Required Skills & Experience
Must-Have:
- 5+ years of professional full-stack experience
- Strong TypeScript across front end and back end
- React with a modern framework (Next.js preferred)
- Node.js and building/consuming APIs
- MongoDB: data modeling, indexing, query performance
- Real-project experience with AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot) — candidates who use these daily will be strongly preferred
- Proven ability to decompose ambiguous problems and work independently
- Excellent written English
Nice-to-Have (Strong Plus)
- Redis, queues/background jobs (BullMQ).
- Stripe or other payments integrations.
- Headless CMS (Payload / Strapi / Sanity).
- CI/CD, Docker, cloud (AWS / GCP / Cloudflare).
- Observability (Sentry, PostHog, logging/monitoring).
- SEO / analytics domain exposure.
Compensation & Setup
- Fully remote
- Independent contractor engagement, full-time — no concurrent freelance or full-time work elsewhere
- Compensation: $2,000–$2,500 USD / month, paid via Airwallex (counted as Remittance)
- Reports to: CTO
How to Apply
- Apply via the Recooty form only. Applications via LinkedIn comments alone will not be reviewed.
- In your application, include a short paragraph on the hardest integration or bug you've personally owned and how you found the root cause. Applications without this will not be reviewed.
- A short video (3–4 minutes, in English) introducing yourself, walking through your experience, and explaining why you're a good fit for this role. This is required — it's how we assess your communication skills before a live interview.
