Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior E-Commerce / App Developer to join our network of project-based consultants. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining e-commerce platforms and mobile applications while ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and user experience.

This role is ideal for a hands-on developer who can work independently, engage with stakeholders, and deliver high-quality solutions across various digital commerce and mobile application projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain e-commerce platforms and mobile applications.
• Build and integrate APIs, payment gateways, and third-party services.
• Develop responsive web and mobile solutions with a focus on user experience.
• Implement new features, enhancements, and platform optimisations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, performance, and integration issues.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices.
• Optimise application performance, security, and scalability.
• Participate in solution architecture discussions and technical planning.
• Maintain technical documentation and deployment processes.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proven experience developing e-commerce platforms and digital commerce solutions.
• Experience building and supporting mobile applications (iOS and/or Android).
• Strong understanding of API development and integrations.
• Experience with cloud-based environments and modern development practices.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture and design principles.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Technical Skills
