Role Overview
AP is hiring a Senior Director of Digital to architect, oversee, and scale all digital platforms and initiatives across its portfolio of high-end practices. This individual will unify and elevate AP’s digital ecosystem, ensuring world-class execution in website experience, e-commerce, paid digital media, online booking, SEO, CRM, and marketing automation.
This role is both visionary and operational: the leader will set strategy for an elite digital experience while also building the team, infrastructure, and partnerships to deliver measurable growth. Success will be defined by digital channels that amplify brand equity, fuel patient acquisition and retention, and unlock sustainable revenue streams for both local practices and the broader AP network.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and execute the enterprise-wide digital roadmap, ensuring alignment with AP’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
- Build a scalable, best-in-class digital marketing function that can adapt to both local brand identities and network-wide growth objectives.
- Website & E-commerce
- Oversee the design, optimization, and performance of all AP and partner practice websites, ensuring seamless UX, modern design, and high conversion rates.
- Lead e-commerce strategy including online retail, memberships, and digital service offerings.
Digital Marketing & Media:
- Own all digital marketing spend across paid search, paid social, display, and programmatic.
- Optimize ROI through data-driven performance marketing strategies that balance acquisition and retention.
- Partner with practices to deploy hyperlocal campaigns that reflect their unique brand DNA.
Patient Engagement & Technology:
- Advance online booking platforms, marketing automation, CRM, and digital loyalty solutions.
- Partner with technology vendors to continuously improve digital infrastructure and patient-facing tools.
Analytics & Optimization:
- Establish clear KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to track performance across the digital ecosystem.
- Drive a culture of test-and-learn to continuously refine campaigns, creative, and customer journeys.
Team & Vendor Management:
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing digital marketing team.
- Manage key agency and vendor relationships, ensuring accountability and excellence.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive digital marketing experience, ideally in consumer health, luxury, aesthetics, multi-location fitness, or multi-location retail.
- Proven success overseeing significant digital marketing budgets and driving measurable ROI.
- Expertise in e-commerce, performance marketing, SEO/SEM, social media, website development, and marketing automation/CRM platforms.
- Strong understanding of digital patient acquisition and retention strategies.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing external agencies/vendors.
- Visionary thinker with a hands-on mindset, equally comfortable with strategy and execution.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
