Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role:

Sunbytes is seeking a Full-time remote DevOps Engineer to strengthen our new team, specifically for our Dutch client in the IoT security industry. Our new team is composed of talented individuals from across Europe and Asia, working with our client in the Netherlands to deliver innovative software solutions for the IoT security industry. 

As a DevOps Engineer at Sunbytes, you will work with a talented team of software engineers to create innovative products that deliver real value to our clients and support team on cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and fortify our Azure environment, ensuring a robust and secure foundation for our innovative projects.
  

• Take the lead in maintaining and optimizing our CI/CD pipeline, enabling a constant flow of development and deployment.
  

• Implement ingenious solutions that elevate our client’s business processes, contributing to their success.
  

• Oversee processes throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  

• Innovate by introducing new processes or refining existing ones to minimize waste.
  

• Champion automation across the board, seeking opportunities to streamline tasks and improve overall efficiency.
  

• Identify and deploy cybersecurity measures through ongoing vulnerability assessments and risk management, ensuring a resilient and secure environment.
  

• Take charge of incidents, conducting thorough analyses to determine root causes and implementing measures to prevent recurrence.
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps
  

• Expertise in continuous integration, continuous development, and deployment pipelines.
  

• Experience in cloud infrastructure
  

• Understand customer requirements and project KPIs
  

• Skills in cybersecurity, with a focus on continuous vulnerability assessment and risk management.
  

• Technologies: Azure Cloud, AWS, Kubernetes (AKS), GitHub actions, ArgoCD, Terraform
  

Nice to have skills:

• Experience in maintaining secure infrastructures within an Azure environment.
  

• Grafana + Loki
  

• Cloudflare Zero Trust
  

Soft skills:

• Strong proficiency in English
  

• Strong communication skills and have the ability to explain complex technical information in simple terms
