Location: Poland | Remote

 

The Senior Delivery Manager is accountable for ensuring the successful delivery of initiatives across a moderately large and/or complex product line or work stream. This position partners with Product Engineering and cross-functional leaders to plan and manage delivery activities, track progress, and mitigate risks. The Senior Delivery Manager leverages DevOps practices and Lean-Agile principles to drive predictability, quality, and continuous improvement in delivery outcomes.

Your Role Responsibilities — Here's What You'll Do

  • Partner with Product and Engineering to define and communicate delivery plans, including scope, scale, dependencies, and risks.
  • Drive cross-team delivery alignment by advising leaders on achievable scope, risks, and dependencies, using delivery trends and insights to inform balanced, outcome-focused decision-making.
  • Track delivery performance trends, detect early signals of risk, and coordinate with leadership on resolution across teams to maintain flow.
  • Ensure cross-team delivery readiness and adherence to SDLC, quality, security, and compliance standards by identifying systemic risks and gaps that may impact delivery outcomes.
  • Lead or support delivery system improvements, including automation and tooling enhancements that reduce friction and improve reliability.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders by providing delivery insights, trend analysis, and actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.

Role Essentials

  • Minimum 4 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, including significant experience managing delivery within a software development organization.
  • Proven experience as a Lean-Agile practitioner with Agile certification(s) and demonstrated delivery leadership across multiple teams.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills with the ability to align cross-functional stakeholders and leaders effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess delivery progress, risks, and dependencies, with the ability to define and refine the release process from planning through software distribution.
  • Knowledge of SDLC compliance requirements, CI/CD pipelines, and understanding of system architecture and delivery environments.

  • Proven ability to oversee complex delivery efforts across multiple teams with minimal oversight.
  • Strong facilitation and project management skills, with a track record of leading delivery planning and governance improvements.
  • Ability to use original thinking to translate goals into new ideas and design solutions that drive measurable improvement.
  • Proficiency with work tracking tools such as Jira, TFS, or similar platforms.
  • C1 level of English proficiency with strong professional oral and written communication skills.

Pay Transparency

259,116 – 396,560 PLN gross annually (based on an employment contract/umowa o pracę)

The posted pay range represents the company’s good faith estimate for this role. Actual compensation may differ based on relevant experience, skills, education, and work.

Responsibilities

  • Drive discussions with Product, Engineering, and Agile leadership to define and communicate the release plan including scope, scale, capacity and cross team dependencies
  • Consult with leaders and impacted teams to schedule the releases; ensure impact on IT controls are identified, and release exceptions are identified and approved.
  • Identify and consult with Product leadership to prioritize the team's capacity as it aligns to work, coordinating ongoing cross-team dependent work to help resolve issues and mitigate risks.
  • Coordinate and evolve the environmental requirements necessary within Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline to maximize automation, security, and quality in the Release Process.
  • Track progress of all teams towards completion of planned release scope, while monitoring, controlling, and tracking changes associated with all activities leading up to the release, identifying and consulting on resolution of potential issues.
  • Verify that work meets all release software delivery lifecycle (SDLC) requirements, and consult with leaders to continually refine release definitions of done to strengthen security and quality.
  • Manage and coordinate the execution of release day activities toward successful software distribution and launch day activities, driving continuous improvement.
  • Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland’s Information Systems Security Policy

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in a software development company
  • Experience in a software delivery support role
  • Experience as an Lean-Agile practitioner
  • Agile certification(s) and/or extensive experience in an Agile delivery environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
  • Strong collaborative skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
  • Demonstrated proficiency with facilitation and influencing others
  • Strong facilitation and project management skill
  • Strong analytical skills to define and refine the release process from planning to software distribution
  • Strong ability to use original thinking to translate goals into the implementation of new ideas and design solutions
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion with minimal oversight
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Understanding of  SDLC
  • Significant experience creating and refining release definition of ready (DoR) and definition of done (DoD)
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CD/CI) pipelines
  • General knowledge of a work tracking tool, such as TFS, Jira or similar work tracking tools
  • Good understanding of application infrastructure, system architecture, and operating system
  • Up to 10% travel time required

Based on Colorado law, the following details are for Colorado individuals only: Colorado base salary range: $90,740 - $118,965 and eligible for bonus and benefits.
