About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer / Data Architect to lead enterprise Data & Analytics architecture and delivery.

The role combines hands-on technical expertise, solution architecture, stakeholder management and technical leadership. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, business teams and engineering teams to design and deliver scalable data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and drive end-to-end data architecture
  
• Develop conceptual, logical and physical data models
  
• Design and review technical solutions
  
• Drive Azure environment and data platform architecture
  
• Mentor development and business teams
  
• Review technology selection and solution architecture
  
• Participate in pre-sales activities
  
• Work with senior leadership on technology strategy
  
• Support technical team recruitment and capability building

• Strong experience delivering enterprise data solutions
  
• Deep expertise in Azure Data technologies
  
• Strong Azure Databricks and Synapse experience
  
• Strong hands-on Spark, Python and SQL
  
• Data architecture and modelling experience
  
• Leadership and mentoring experience
  
• Strong client/stakeholder communication
  
• Pre-sales / solutioning exposure preferred
