What you will be doing:

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience building and optimizing scalable data solutions using Databricks, Python, SQL, and Apache Spark. 

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with large datasets, developing reliable data pipelines, implementing complex transformations, and contributing to modern data platform initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of senior-level experience in Data Engineering.

• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks.

• Advanced Python programming skills.

• Strong SQL development and optimization skills.

• Strong experience with Apache Spark / PySpark.

• Experience designing and implementing scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.

• Experience working with large datasets and distributed data processing.

• Strong understanding of data engineering principles, data modeling, and data quality.

• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize data processing workloads.

Nice to have 

• Experience with Snowflake.

• Experience with AI Coding tools like Claude or agents. 

• Experience with AWS data services and cloud environments.

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Experience with dbt and modern ELT/data transformation practices.

• Familiarity with cloud-based data lakehouse architectures.

• Experience implementing CI/CD and automated testing for data pipelines.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects

• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate, diagram and document complex engineering concepts.
