Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Data Architect to design and optimize scalable data structures for complex analytical and business use cases. This role focuses on Snowflake architecture, data modeling, query performance, landing patterns, governance, and efficient data consumption across distributed environments. The ideal candidate will translate business requirements into accessible, high-performing datasets while partnering with Data Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, and business stakeholders. Success requires strong architectural judgment, advanced SQL expertise, and hands-on experience managing large-scale modern data platforms effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Design scalable datasets optimized for analytics, reporting, and business consumption.

  • Review existing data structures and identify opportunities to improve query performance.

  • Define effective data landing patterns based on analytical, product, and operational requirements.

  • Optimize Snowflake architecture, including clustering, permissions, access patterns, governance, and performance.

  • Determine how large and complex datasets should be structured for efficient querying and consumption.

  • Design analytical solutions for data distributed across microservices and multiple source systems.

  • Collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, and business stakeholders.

  • Establish data-modeling and architecture standards as the organization’s data ecosystem evolves.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • Senior-level experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Database Architecture.

  • Deep hands-on expertise with Snowflake.

  • Advanced knowledge of data modeling, dataset design, query optimization, and analytical architectures.

  • Experience designing scalable platforms for large or complex datasets.

  • Strong understanding of Snowflake clustering, permissions, performance optimization, and data governance.

  • Advanced SQL skills and strong relational database fundamentals.

  • Understanding of modern data pipelines and microservice-based architectures.

  • Ability to translate business and analytical requirements into efficient, accessible, and scalable data structures
