Senior Data Architect (2 months project)
For a project in the car rental industry, we are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect for a short-term engagement (1–2 months) focused on building a GCP-based data warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Architecting a scalable and reliable data warehouse solution
- Designing data models that drive analytics and reporting
- Selecting and recommending the right tools and technologies
- Building and deploying initial data pipelines
- Documenting systems and enabling smooth knowledge transfer
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering/data architecture roles
- Strong background in dimensional modeling
- Experience designing warehouse architectures
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable data models
- Hands-on production experience with BigQuery
- Experience with an orchestration tool
- Experience implementing data quality checks
- Understanding of PII handling, data masking, and compliance considerations (GDPR)
- Proficient in SQL
- Proficient in Python for data engineering tasks
- Fluent in Polish and English
Nice to have:
- Experience in the mobility, automotive, or car rental industry
- Experience with Looker / Looker Studio or other BI tools on the GCP stack
- Arabic or Polish language skills (a plus, not required)
