Job Description

Are you passionate about turning complex data into real-world operational impact using cutting-edge technology? As our Senior Data Analyst, you’ll sit right at the heart of Nielsen's panel operations—connecting data, continuous improvement, and modern AI capability.

In this role, you’ll dive into panel performance, leverage AI tools to automate analytical workflows, spot potential risks before they happen, and collaborate with teams across the company to keep everything running smoothly. What You'll Do Every Day

• Keep Your Pulse on Panel Health: Monitor key operational metrics, leverage AI to dig into trends and root causes, and tackle potential risks early on.

• Build Intelligent Workflows & Dashboards: Design intuitive scorecards, predictive models, and AI-assisted workflows to translate tricky business questions into clear, actionable recommendations.

• Ensure High Data Quality: Validate data pipelines, spot logic issues, and create reliable forecasts using advanced analytical and AI tools that teams can count on.

• Turn Insights Into Action: Create clear action plans with milestones and deliverables. Track service requests, troubleshoot issues, and follow through until problems are solved.

• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional partners in Operations, Tech, Quality, Workforce Management, and beyond to resolve roadblocks and improve processes.

• Champion Continuous Improvement: Automate documentation, support audit readiness, and share data story insights with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a friendly, virtual team setting.

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Team

• Education & Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience), plus experience analyzing operational, quality, or survey data.

• AI & Technical Toolkit: Proficient with AI tools (such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Enterprise LLMs) to write queries, summarize data, and automate analytical workflows. Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Excel, and modern data processing tools.

• Bilingual Skills: Strong written and spoken communication in both English and Spanish.

• Soft Skills: Great attention to detail, strong organization, and the natural ability to build relationships and influence colleagues without needing direct authority.

• Experience using Claude or GitHub Copilot for data querying, Python scripting, or logic validation.

• Experience with panel operations, audience measurement, or media research (like TAM or Audio measurement).

• Hands-on experience with Python, Tableau, Alteryx, or Google Data Studio.

• Familiarity with data governance, UAT, ticketing systems, or supporting U.S.-based teams remotely.
