The Role

As our App-focused Data Analyst, you will support our mobile growth engine by building robust dashboards, preparing reliable metrics, and conducting deep-dive analyses. By translating raw app data into clear reporting, you will empower our UA, ASO, Product and CRM teams, and Leadership, with the insights they need to confidently execute their strategies and optimize their budgets and releases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain scalable, self-serve dashboards that give App, UA, and ASO teams instant, reliable access to core performance metrics (ROAS, CAC, LTV) and daily tracking.

  • Fuel marketing investments’ optimizations by creating specialized reports analyzing ad creatives, Custom Product Pages (CPPs), Custom Store Listings (CSLs), and in-app events across channels.

  • Provide holistic visibility into app growth by unifying organic and paid data, allowing teams to evaluate deduplicated traffic and true channel incrementality.

  • Support product and marketing decisions by analyzing full-funnel behavior and interpreting A/B tests to identify actionable conversion and retention gaps.

  • Maintain a trustworthy data foundation by working closely with mobile attribution (MMP-level) data, flagging platform discrepancies, and documenting metrics definitions.

  • Partner directly with UA and ASO stakeholders to deliver exploratory analyses on channel efficiency and audience quality, making complex data accessible to non-technical teams.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Data Analysis experience in a mobile-first, performance marketing, or growth-oriented environment.

  • Expert-level SQL and proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation and automating reporting processes.

  • Hands-on expertise with BI tools (Looker Studio, Tableau) and mobile attribution/MMP ecosystems (Adjust, AppsFlyer).

  • Deep knowledge of App Store analytics platforms (AppTweak, Apple Ads, App Store Connect) and evaluating paid UA data.

  • Strong statistical foundation, with proven experience translating A/B tests and cohort analyses into clear methodology docs and insights.

  • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Firebase for mobile apps, including custom event tracking, funnel analysis, and extracting raw data.

Nice to Have

  • Background in travel, e-commerce, or fast-paced subscription-based apps.

  • Familiarity with alternative market intelligence tools like SensorTower.

  • Knowledge of BigQuery, dbt, or similar modern data stack components.
