What you’ll do

- Design and facilitate stakeholder engagements (focus groups, workshops, technical roundtables) that reconcile competing priorities into actionable plans.
- Author high‑impact deliverables: executive summaries, decision memos, technical appendices, implementation roadmaps, and conference‑ready presentations.
- Drive business development: shape win themes, lead proposal strategy, price level‑of‑effort, and coordinate teaming; coach others to write winning bids.
- Mentor & quality‑assure: review work products, coach intermediate/analyst staff, and institutionalize templates and best practices.
- Represent FRESCo: thought leadership, panel appearances, and client briefings.
What you bring
- 8+ years in building retrofit planning/strategy and/or program/policy consulting with a track record leading complex, multi‑stakeholder projects.
- Relevant education (engineering, planning, public policy, economics, building science, or related).
- Strategic communicator: adept at framing trade‑offs, clarifying decisions, and aligning technical, financial, and policy considerations.
- Advanced project leadership: budgeting, risk management, change control, multi‑vendor coordination, and executive‑level reporting.
- Deep familiarity with decarbonization/retrofit technologies, implementation barriers, incentive structures, and regulatory/policy levers, or capacity to learn and master content quickly.
- Analytical depth: comfort directing modeling/analysis, reviewing assumptions, and challenging results; fluency in Excel and comfort deploying AI tools to enhance throughput.
- Proven proposal leadership with measurable RFP wins in public‑sector/utility/private sector.
