Summary
As a Senior Consultant at Beazley Security, you will take a leadership role in guiding our clients through cybersecurity incidents, helping them respond effectively and recover swiftly. You will also provide strategic and proactive counsel to strengthen their overall security posture. This role demands advanced expertise in digital forensics, incident response, and cybersecurity, along with strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
Incident Response Leadership
- Lead and oversee incident response engagements, ensuring timely and effective identification, containment, and mitigation of security incidents.
- Develop and execute strategic response plans tailored to client needs.
Digital Forensics Expertise
- Manage and conduct digital forensic investigations to identify root causes, the extent of breaches, and their impact.
- Ensure evidence is collected, preserved, and documented in compliance with best practices.
Advanced Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze forensic and incident data to provide deep insights into threat actors' tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports with findings, recommendations, and remediation strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strategic Client Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, maintaining consistent communication and providing guidance throughout engagements.
- Offer proactive recommendations for improving clients’ security posture based on evolving threats and trends.
Team Leadership and Development
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering professional growth and enhancing team capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security analysts and engineers, to optimize incident response processes.
Threat Intelligence and Research
- Stay informed about the latest threat intelligence, tools, and trends, and incorporate this knowledge into client recommendations and internal practices.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5+ years in incident response, digital forensics, or related cybersecurity fields.
- Proven experience leading incident response efforts and managing client relationships.
- Industry certifications such as GCFE, GCFA, GCIH, or CISSP are highly desirable.
- Expertise in digital forensics tools, incident response methodologies, operating systems, networks, and cybersecurity principles.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire junior team members.
- Dedication to continuous learning and staying ahead of the curve in cybersecurity threats and technologies.
