AI Summary

Manage the public and private Discord communities and oversee relationships with clippers and streamers. Plan and host live community events, AMAs, and developer Q&As to drive growth and engagement through the game's launch.

About us

We are Scape, a Swedish game studio of about 30 people. Our first game is Gravity: a multiplayer climbing game where 100 players share one world, one tower, and one long way down. It launches on Steam Early Access later this year, with a closed beta this summer. Our senior team has shipped and run live games at studios including Arrowhead (Helldivers 2), Avalanche Studios, and Ubisoft.

The role

Community is our growth engine, not our support desk. Gravity is built to be clipped, streamed, and shared, and our launch runs on creators and the community around them. We are hiring the person who runs that daily reality: the Discord, the creator relationships, the events, and the tone of everything we say in public. The role reports directly to the CEO through launch. You will join weeks before the beta opens and own the community through launch and beyond.

What you will own

  • Our public Discord and our private creator Discord: structure, tone, and daily presence.

  • Day-to-day communication with our clipper and streamer network, alongside our Commercial Director who owns the relationships.

  • The creator event calendar: scheduled sessions where creators and invited beta players fill 100-player servers, before launch and every week after it.

  • Plan and host live community sessions, including AMAs, developer Q&As, and other events that bring the team and players together.

  • Comment engagement across our channels through launch, and a volunteer moderator program built from our most engaged players.

  • Daily monitoring for problems that grow fast, with a clear escalation path when they do.

  • The post-launch rhythm: play nights, competitions, and community playtests of upcoming updates together with creators.

You

  • Have run community for a live multiplayer game through at least one launch, and can walk us through it.

  • Understand creator culture firsthand, including clippers, streamers, Discord-first communities, and short-form platforms.

  • Are comfortable on camera, speaking live to an audience and hosting AMAs with our team.

  • Write fast and well in English. Additional languages are a plus; the game will be available in ten languages.

  • Can stay calm when something blows up at 23:00 on a launch weekend and know the difference between a fire and a spark.

  • Work CET hours. Employment in Sweden or a long-term contract both work.

  • Have a passion for games and play all sorts of games to keep up with the latest trends.

What we offer

A launch with real ambition and the tools to match: a game designed to produce moments people share, a creator program with genuine revenue share for creators, a marketing framework already in place, and a small senior team where community sits at the center of the strategy. Direct line to the CEO. The chance to build a community from its first thousand members and be the reason it works.
