The role involves designing and executing test strategies, developing and maintaining automation scripts, utilizing AI-assisted testing tools to improve efficiency, preparing testing artifacts, and supporting successful product releases. This full-time position reports to the QC Lead or Quality Manager and is ideal for technically skilled professionals who enjoy problem-solving, adopting modern testing practices, and working in fast-paced, collaborative environments.

1.  Manual Testing & Test Execution

•        Design, write, and execute manual test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts covering functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, API, and performance testing.

•        Perform exploratory, smoke, and sanity testing to validate application builds before release.

•        Execute planned test cycles, document test results, log and manage defects with clear reproduction steps, and verify software fixes through regression testing.

2.  Test Automation Engineering

•        Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and contribute to the continuous improvement of automation frameworks.

•        Enhance test coverage by maintaining automation suites and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.

•        Review, debug, and optimize automation scripts to improve reliability and execution efficiency.

3.  Performance Testing & Optimization

•        Design, execute, and analyze performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests to evaluate system reliability, responsiveness, and stability under varying workloads.

•        Identify, analyze, and report performance bottlenecks while collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to recommend and validate performance improvements.

•        Monitor performance test results and provide recommendations to improve application scalability and user experience.

4.  AI-Assisted Quality Engineering

•        Utilize AI-powered tools to accelerate test case generation, automation scripting, test data creation, defect analysis, and testing documentation while validating the accuracy and quality of AI-generated outputs.

•        Evaluate and adopt AI-assisted testing techniques to improve testing effectiveness, productivity, and software quality.

•        Apply AI tools responsibly to enhance test coverage, identify potential risks, and optimize testing workflows.

5.  Test Documentation & Reporting

•        Prepare, maintain, and deliver testing artifacts, including test plans, test cases, test data, traceability matrices, test execution reports, defect reports, and test summary reports.

•        Provide accurate testing status updates, quality metrics, defect summaries, and risk assessments to project stakeholders.

6.  User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

•        Support User Acceptance Testing by preparing test cases, assisting with test environments, coordinating with stakeholders, executing UAT scenarios, and validating business requirements.

•        Ensure UAT activities are completed successfully before production release.

7.  Defect Management & Root Cause Analysis

•        Investigate, identify, and document root causes of software defects while collaborating with development teams to support timely resolution.

•        Assist developers in reproducing and validating reported issues within test environments.

•        Analyze recurring defects and recommend preventive quality improvements.

8.  Requirements Analysis & SDLC Participation

•        Review business and functional requirements to ensure completeness, testability, and adequate test coverage.

•        Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, test planning, execution, validation, and release activities.

9.  Knowledge Sharing & Team Collaboration

•        Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level QC engineers on testing best practices, automation techniques, AI-assisted testing tools, and quality processes.

•        Collaborate closely with development, product, business, and infrastructure teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

10.  Quality Improvement

•        Contribute to improving testing methodologies, quality standards, templates, automation practices, AI-enabled quality engineering processes, and performance testing strategies.

•        Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions to improve product quality and testing efficiency.

•        Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

•        Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent education and work experience.

•        6+ years of hands-on experience in software quality control/testing.

•        5+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing (functional, regression, integration, end-to-end).

•        2+ years of hands-on experience in test automation (framework development, scripting, CI/CD integration).

•        Professional certification such as ISTQB-CTFL or ISTQB-CTAL.

•        Proven hands-on experience executing both manual testing (functional, regression, integration, end-to-end) and test automation (framework development, scripting, CI/CD integration).

•        Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar) with the ability to write, debug, and maintain automation code.

•        Proficiency in performance testing tools and frameworks (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, k6, or similar) with the ability to design, execute, analyze, and optimize performance test scenarios.
