Assignment Description

Ready to shape the architecture behind the future of banking technology? We are looking for an experienced Senior Architect to lead the architecture of domain-oriented data products and APIs supporting critical business capabilities across a banking organisation.

You will work across business, technology and data, providing architectural leadership across multiple delivery streams and enabling teams to deliver scalable, secure and resilient solutions within clear architectural guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Define the architecture vision, principles and roadmap for data products and domain APIs.

• Lead end-to-end architecture across multiple delivery streams, aligning business capabilities, data, APIs and technology platforms.

• Establish standards for governed, reusable and trustworthy data products, including ownership, quality, metadata and lineage.

• Define API architecture, contracts, security, versioning, governance and reusable integration patterns.

• Define functional and non-functional requirements covering security, performance, scalability, resilience, availability and operability.

• Identify interfaces, data flows and cross-domain dependencies, and guide teams in evaluating solution alternatives.

• Build the architectural runway needed for sustainable delivery and enable Continuous Delivery, DevOps and automation.

• Collaborate with business, product, engineering, enterprise architecture and supplier stakeholders.

• Communicate architectural decisions clearly, mentor architects and engineering teams, and support decentralised decision-making.

Requirements

Must Have

• Significant experience in Solution, Domain or Enterprise Architecture or a comparable senior architecture role.

• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale data products, APIs and integration solutions.

• Experience leading architecture across multiple teams, products or technology domains.

• Strong understanding of banking technology and business processes.

• Experience working in complex, regulated environments with demanding security, resilience and data governance requirements.

• Proficient English.

• CV must be submitted in English.

Good to Have

• Experience with Core Banking platforms.
