POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Task Order Project Manager, the Application Developer – Senior serves as the lead developer supporting the sustainment and modernization of a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) geospatial map catalog application suite. Develops software based on requirements developed by Business Analysts to meet the needed business solution at enterprise, large-scale level. All work is within the application development framework used by the organization. Collaborates with a Business Analyst to meet the requirement of fulfilling the client's goals to implement the business solution. Proficiently executes the work using the tools and techniques implemented for the project. Works directly with the Systems Architect to develop and implement new third-party applications, tools, and programming libraries to meet the business development goals of the client. Utilizes web-based software such as Java, HTML, .NET, AngularJS, JavaScript, SOAP, REST API, mobile development, and Web Based API in the building of software applications. Knowledge and experience of the ESRI Suite is required, as it is used for the standalone map catalog application as well as the potential future online catalog.

Responsibilities span sustainment of the current application baseline — including defect resolution, quarterly release packaging, security scanning and STIG compliance, and support to Risk Management Framework (RMF) authorization documentation — alongside design and development of the next-generation replacement application and modernization of supporting geospatial data-processing automation within ESRI ArcGIS Pro. This is a full-time, off-site (remote) position. Travel is not authorized.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

• Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority
• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related discipline
• Active Secret Clearance
• Five (5) years of total work experience developing
• Experience with application programming interfaces (APIs) to support Low-Code/No-Code Development Platform models
• Experience using low-code/no-code business process modeling notation (BPMN) tools
• Experience developing application/process automation software based on BPMN models, experience using software tools such as Appian, Salesforce, Nintex, etc. with Microsoft SQL Server databases and Microsoft .NET development environment
• Experience with ESRI Software Development Kit (SDK) Java and .NET
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Pro including Tasks
• Experience with ESRI Online and Portal
• Experience with Jira
• Experience with DevSecOps
• Experience in agile and hybrid low-code application development
