Senior AP1000 Instructor (new Nuclear Power Plant)

About the role:

As a Senior AP1000 Instructor you will help develop the next generation of nuclear operators in Poland. You will deliver high-quality training, applying your technical expertise and instructional skills to help qualify licensed and non-licensed operations personnel.

During the initial phase, you may work remotely from within Poland while completing a comprehensive qualification and training program of approximately 18 months. This program will include extended assignments in Madrid, Spain, where the instructor will receive training, mentoring, and hands-on experience alongside experienced AP1000 training personnel.

As the project progresses, we expect to transition the position's permanent work location to the Gdansk area / Lubiatowo area in northern Poland. Therefore, you must either already reside in the region or be willing to relocate there.

We ask that you have flexibility to travel internationally.

You will report to the Operations and Technical Training Manager and be located in Poland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in all stages of the Systematic Approach to Training process of the initial and continuing education programs of their specialty
• Manage the analysis, design and implementation of ongoing training needs
• Develop the sessions corresponding to the training courses of licensed and non-licensed operations personnel, including teaching sessions in the classroom, plant, and the simulator
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and qualification support to junior Instructors
• Detect any type of malfunction in the simulator and collaborate in the analysis and implementation of corrections, conduct the tests
• Coordinate training, providing support to training committees and planning training programs
• Define and collaborate in the development of advanced educational means (simulators, multimedia, videos, and models)

Qualifications:

• Graduates of a Master's Degree in scientific-technical specialties (Engineering, Physics or related fields of study)
• 7+ years of experience providing technical training programs
• 5+ years of experience in the nuclear industry or power generation, or regulated industrial environments
• Experience mentoring, coaching, or qualifying junior Instructors
• Proficient in English language
• Availability to travel and spend extended periods in Madrid, Spain, as part of the training and qualification program
• Driver's license required

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 11,416 PLN to 14,266 PLN gross per month. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
