About the Position
As an AI Engineer, you will actively shape the future of our AI-driven products and services. You will take responsibility for the end-to-end development, deployment and optimisation of modern artificial intelligence solutions.
You will develop robust and scalable models based on machine learning, deep learning, generative AI and large language models. Using your strong programming skills in Python and frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow, you will transform innovative AI solutions into production-ready applications.
Another key focus of your role will be implementing MLOps and data engineering principles. You will create the technical foundations for reliable, scalable and maintainable AI systems while working with modern cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.
Working closely with data scientists, software engineers, product managers, architects and other cross-functional teams, you will drive impactful AI initiatives forward. You will analyse complex challenges, develop suitable solutions and support their implementation in an agile working environment.
You will apply your technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities to successfully develop innovative AI applications and integrate them sustainably into existing business and IT processes.
Must-Have Skills
- Several years of experience developing and implementing artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions
- Strong knowledge of machine learning and modern deep-learning technologies
- Practical experience with generative AI and large language models
- Excellent programming skills in Python
- Confident use of frameworks such as PyTorch and/or TensorFlow
- Experience developing, deploying and optimising production-oriented AI models
- Strong knowledge of MLOps principles and practices
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly Azure and/or AWS
- Knowledge of data engineering, including the development and processing of data pipelines
- Experience developing scalable and reliable AI systems
- Familiarity with agile methods, such as Scrum
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving
- A high degree of ownership, willingness to learn and strong implementation focus
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience in natural language processing
- Knowledge and practical experience in computer vision
- Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark or Hadoop
- Practical experience with MLOps platforms such as Kubeflow or MLflow
- Knowledge of software development standards and best practices, such as clean code, version control and CI/CD
- Experience with container technologies and cloud-based deployment models
- Knowledge of developing and integrating APIs for AI applications
- Experience developing AI solutions for complex business processes
- Experience with responsible, explainable and secure artificial intelligence
