As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting month-end and quarterly close processes, preparing financial statements, and delivering meaningful analysis that helps guide business decisions. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and reports
  • Reconcile, analyze, and review general ledger accounts in preparation for month end close
  • Prepare journal entries and reviews accounting classifications, in accordance with generally-accepted accounting principles
  • Prepare documentation in support of external and internal audits
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretation
  • Analyze and prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and statements of financial position
  • Assist with or lead the month end quarterly end close process for assigned businesses or groups
  • Performs work in a self-directed manner and works with less structured, more complex issues

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional accounting and/or finance experience in a corporate environment
  • Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and financial statements
  • Intermediate or higher level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel (Pivot tables) 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare experience
  • A/R and invoice processing experience
  • Experience using MS Access
  • Experience using PeopleSoft Financials

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $60,200 - $107,400 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
