BlueTuskr is a full-service e-commerce growth agency built exclusively for e-commerce brands. We combine paid media, SEO, creative, and analytics to help our clients scale profitably. Our team is made up of specialists who are deeply invested in their craft — and in the success of the brands they serve.
This isn't a "jack of all trades" environment. We hire people who are exceptional at what they do, then give them the resources and autonomy to do it well.
The Opportunity
We're looking for an SEM Specialist who wants to build real depth in paid search. Reporting to the SEM Lead, you'll own the day-to-day execution of campaigns across a portfolio of e-commerce clients — building, optimizing, and reporting on accounts while the SEM Lead sets strategy and direction.
This is a hands-on role for someone who already knows their way around a search account and wants the reps, mentorship, and ownership to grow into a true channel expert.
This role is ideal for someone who's energized by getting into the weeds of an account, sweats the details, and wants to build real expertise under someone who can teach them.
What You'll Own
Channel Execution
- Build, launch, and manage campaigns across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, and YouTube, following strategy set by the SEM Lead
- Handle day-to-day account management: bid adjustments, budget pacing, keyword and negative keyword management, ad copy testing, audience management
- Execute testing frameworks designed by the SEM Lead and report back on results
- Flag account issues, anomalies, or underperformance early — before they become client problems
Performance & Reporting
- Pull and maintain performance reporting across your assigned accounts
- Monitor KPIs (ROAS, CPA, spend pacing) daily and escalate anything off-track
- Support the SEM Lead in prepping data and insights ahead of client calls and QBRs
- Keep account documentation and change logs current and organized
Collaboration & Growth
- Work closely with the SEM Lead to understand the "why" behind strategy, not just the "what"
- Partner with Paid Social, Accounts, and Project Management to stay aligned on client priorities
- Bring platform updates, new features, or ideas to the SEM Lead for consideration
- Take on increasing account ownership as your skills and track record grow
Who You Are
Skills get you in the door. These are the qualities that make you right for this role:
- You're detail-obsessed. You catch small errors before they become expensive ones.
- You're coachable. You take direction well, ask good questions, and apply feedback quickly.
- You're organized. You can keep several accounts moving at once without dropping the ball.
- You're curious. You want to understand why a strategy works, not just execute it.
- You're honest. If something's off in an account, you say so — you don't wait to be asked.
What Success Looks Like
In your first 90 days:
- You've learned the accounts you're supporting and can navigate them independently
- You're executing campaign builds, optimizations, and reporting with minimal rework needed
- You understand the SEM Lead's strategic framework and can apply it consistently
- You've built a working rhythm with the SEM Lead and cross-functional teams
By the end of year one:
- You're managing your assigned accounts with a high degree of independence
- You've developed a specialty or strength area within SEM (e.g., Shopping/Performance Max, testing frameworks, reporting/attribution)
- You're trusted to flag risks and opportunities without prompting
- You're ready to take on greater account ownership or scope
