Scrum Master - Remote

Mindex is looking for a Scrum Master to support three teams in our Professional Services division. In this role, you’ll lead Scrum ceremonies, remove obstacles, and use your project management experience to keep work on track, including scope, timelines, costs, and stakeholder expectations. You’ll work closely with team members and technical leads to set priorities, communicate progress, and address challenges before they affect delivery. The ideal candidate is a confident, approachable leader who can bring people together, coach teams through change, and help them take ownership of their work.

Compensation

$90,000 - $140,000

What You'll Accomplish

• Work with three Scrum teams to facilitate all standard Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and navigate a scaled agile environment (release planning, quarterly planning).
• Act as a Project Manager to manage each project’s scope, timeline, and cost to meet stakeholder satisfaction

• Distill complex messages and status updates for the consumption of managers, directors, and key stakeholders.
• Coach team members in Agile frameworks and SDLC processes. Mentor teams to be self-organizing, self-managing, and self-disciplined in pursuit of continuous improvement.
• Build a trusting, open, and safe environment that promotes transparency and innovation where problems can be identified and productively solved.
• Champions the Mindex culture, fostering interpersonal relationships in a fun remote environment through team building, games, and learning.
• Lead Release Planning and guide quarterly Program Planning.
• Partner with technical leads to provide performance feedback, coaching, and professional development to individual scrum team members; may include people management.
• Collaborate with all Scrum team members to ensure successful sprint execution through the use of best practices, inspection, and adaptation.

Requirements

• BS degree in Software Engineering, or related area preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years working as a Scrum Master role or equivalent.
• Strong analysis, critical-thinking capabilities & problem-solving skills.
• Strong focus on exceptional customer service.
• Curious in nature and striving to leave things better than they were found.
• Highly organized & accurate.
• Strong initiative and follow-through skills.
• Aptitude and desire to work in a highly collaborative, self-organizing, team environment.
• Willingness and ability to provide and accept feedback.
• Ability to work independently but ask questions when needed.
  

Licenses & Certifications:

• Scrum Master certification and/or Project Management certifications are a plus.
