Bridge351 is looking for a Scrum Master to join a strategic project for the Comisión Europea. This is a 6-month project, full remote from Europe.
Tasks:
Facilitates Scrum events such as Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, and backlog refinement.
Helps the team follow PM² agile principles and keeps the team aligned with agile ways of working.
Removes impediments that block the development team from progressing with sprint work.
Supports the Product Owner in backlog management, prioritization, and creating clear user stories.
Encourages team self-organization instead of managing the team in a traditional command-and-control way.
Documentation of the agile way of working of the team.
Improves team collaboration and communication within the team and with other development teams.
Monitors sprint progress using Jira boards, burndown charts, and sprint reports.
Coaches the team and organization on agile practices, Scrum roles, and continuous improvement.
Drives continuous improvement by helping the team identify lessons learned and implement improvements after retrospectives.
Knowledge and skills:
Basic knowledge of project management methodologies (PM², PRINCE2, PMBOK, SCRUM – certification in any of these methodologies is a plus)
Excellent capacity for writing clear and structured documents.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
Good ability to give high level presentations and facilitate meetings.
Ability to work in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in a team, understanding the needs, objectives and constraints of those in other disciplines and functions.
Experience in the use of M-365 toolset including Excel is a must.
Experience in the use of PowerBI, Power Automate and JIRA is must.
Language: Advanced English
Work mode: Remote from EU (2 travels to Brussels foreseen)
