The Opportunity:


We are seeking a high caliber Agile Scrum Master in the Stafford, VA area to support a Marine Corps Oracle R12 based ERP that provides near real-time visibility of retail supply, wholesale supply, equipment maintenance, and repair transactions. As the Agile Scrum Master, you will act as the servant leader of an Agile team; facilitate all team events, generate team metrics, calculate team capacity and facilitate release and sprint planning.


Responsibilities:

  • Guide the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices

  • Be responsible for facilitating scrum events, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings

  • Maintain relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doing 

  • Be an active Team member on a high performing Agile Team implementing the CACI Agile Solution Factory execution model 

  • Utilize knowledge of software development processes and procedures    

  • Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution

  • Assist with internal and external communication and improving transparency    

  • Support and educate the Product Owner, working to keep the key stakeholders engaged in the development process 

  • Use the VersionOne Agility tool to manage Release Backlog and Sprint/Release execution activities     

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in across all phases of the agile software development cycle
  • Experience working with Agile teams using Scrum or scaling implementations such as the CACI Agile Solution Factory (ASF) or SAFe.
  • Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Story composition, Functional Decomposition, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Paired Programming, Automated Testing.
  • Experience with ITSM principles and ITIL Best practices.   
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, problem solving, organizational and multi-tasking skills  
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to integrate information from multiple sources.       
  • Ability to work independently and interact regularly with government and non-government stakeholders at multiple levels of authority
  • Ability to pass a NACI background investigation
  • U.S. Citizenship       

Desired:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or other technical degree
  • Knowledge or experience working with Supply Chain Management Systems/Platforms.
  • Experience using one or more Agile Lifecycle Management Tools (Jira, VersionOne, Serena, etc.)
  • Experience supporting programs that have implemented the Agile Solution Factory.
  • Certified SAFe Agilist and/or experience working as a BA, Scrum Master or PO within Agile methodology (Scrum or SAFe preferred).
  • Scrum Master Certification

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$63,300-$129,700
