Soccer Shots - Long Island West is looking for a passionate and organized Scrum Master to join our growing team in Syosset, NY! Responsibilities:
- Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Coach and mentor agile teams on Scrum principles, values, and best practices
- Remove impediments and blockers to ensure team velocity and productivity
- Track and communicate sprint progress, team metrics, and key performance indicators
- Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a healthy, prioritized product backlog
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement through agile ceremonies and feedback loops
- Coordinate cross-functional team dependencies and stakeholder communication
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a professional setting
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification preferred
- Strong understanding of Scrum framework, Kanban, and agile methodologies
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Self-motivated, organized, and passionate about team development and agile transformation
