Responsibilities

Coordinate all remote commissioning activities for the Safety and Automation System (SAS) across the project portfolio.

Establish, document, and maintain best practices for remote commissioning within the SAS discipline.

Identify and categorize SAS commissioning scope suitable for remote execution (e.g., loop checks, function tests, software verification).

Liaise with future operations teams on requirements and readiness of onshore control rooms.

Ensure alignment with strategic initiatives within commissioning, including digital ways of working.

Coordinate with suppliers, system integrators, and contractors on remote commissioning interfaces, protocols, and access arrangements.

Support project teams with planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for remote SAS activities.

Define network, communication, and cybersecurity requirements for remote commissioning in cooperation with IT/OT specialists.

Capture and share lessons learned from remote commissioning execution to mature the methodology.

Required expertise

Significant experience with commissioning processes, specifically for Safety and Automation Systems (SAS).

Demonstrated knowledge of remote commissioning methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Experience in coordinating activities between multiple stakeholders such as suppliers, contractors, and operations.

Understanding of network, communication, and cybersecurity requirements for IT/OT systems.

Familiarity with digital tools and modern work methods in a project environment.

Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and drive strategic initiatives forward.
