SAP Developer – ABAP / S/4HANA (Any location in India)

The Opportunity

As an SAP Developer, you will work on innovative, end-to-end S/4HANA implementations, contributing across the journey from requirements gathering through design and development to delivery.

You will have the opportunity to work with modern SAP technologies and development approaches, including ABAP in Eclipse, RAP and SAP BTP, building on your existing experience and developing new skills.  As part of a truly international organisation, you will collaborate with experienced consultants and technical experts from around the world, bringing together different perspectives and expertise to deliver high-quality solutions for leading Life Sciences organisations.

Key Responsibilities

·      Design and develop high-quality ABAP solutions as part of end-to-end S/4HANA implementations.

·      Contribute to modern ABAP development using ABAP in Eclipseand approaches such as RAP, aligned with clean core principles.

·      Develop CDS Views and work with OData and RESTful services.

·      Collaborate with integration and technical teams across S/4HANA and SAP BTP architectures. 

·      Work closely with functional colleagues and clients to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

Your Experience

You are a technically strong developer with good communication skills and a collaborative approach to delivering high-quality solutions.

Relevant SAP capabilities include:

·      6+ years of ABAP development experience within S/4HANA environments (ABAP on HANA).

·      Experience working with CDS Views, OData APIs and REST services.

·      Experience building enhancements aligned with clean core principles.

·      Experience working on S/4HANA implementation projects, including at least one full lifecycle.

·      Strong understanding of S/4HANA architecture and modern extensibility approaches

·      Experience collaborating with clients in a consulting or professional services environment

·      Experience with SAP BTP, alongside an interest in developing your skills across modern SAP technologies such as RAP. 

·      SAP certifications in ABAP or related technologies are desirable.
