SAP ABAP Cloud / RAP / CDS Developer

This is a remote position.

For a Scandinavian SAP consulting company, we are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Cloud Developer with strong expertise in RAP and CDS for long-term cooperation on international S/4HANA projects.

The company delivers high-quality SAP solutions across S/4HANA transformation, SAP Core, BTP development, Clean Core modernization, and advisory, combining Nordic engineering standards with stable teams, ownership, and a strong focus on business outcomes.

The selected consultant will be responsible for designing and implementing modern, cloud-ready ABAP solutions, closely cooperating with functional consultants and business stakeholders in an international project environment.



Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop ABAP Cloud-compliant applications in S/4HANA.
Develop RAP-based services and CDS views for transactional and analytical scenarios.
Support modernization of existing custom code in line with Clean Core principles (side-by-side vs in-app extensibility).
Collaborate closely with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Participate in international SAP rollout and transformation projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in ABAP development.
  
• Strong experience in ABAP Cloud development, including RAP, CDS, and OData.
  
• Practical knowledge of SAP S/4HANA extensibility concepts.
  
• Experience with Clean Core, custom code adaptation, and modern ABAP practices.
  
• Ability to work independently on design and implementation topics.
  
• Experience in international projects.
  
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
  
• Proactive and solution-oriented working style.
  
• Very good English communication skills.
