SAP ABAP

This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, enhance, and support ABAP reports and custom programs based on business requirements.
  
• Strong understanding of ABAP programming concepts, debugging, error handling, and performance considerations.
  
• Work extensively with SAP Data Dictionary (DDIC) objects, including tables, structures, data elements, domains, views, search helps, and table types.
  
• Develop reports using internal tables, work areas, field symbols, loops, modularization, and database operations.
  
• Hands-on experience with Function Modules, subroutines, methods, and other modularization techniques.
  
• Develop and enhance ALV reports using appropriate ALV frameworks based on project requirements.
  
• Work on SAP forms including Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms for business documents and outputs.
  
• Analyze existing custom programs and perform required modifications, enhancements, and bug fixes.
  
• Perform ABAP debugging to identify root causes and resolve functional/technical issues.
  
• Follow coding standards, naming conventions, documentation standards, and development best practices.
  
• Work with functional consultants to understand requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
  
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, defect resolution, and production support activities.
  
• Prepare technical specifications and documentation for developments and enhancements.
  
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams during development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
