Job Title: Salesforce Education Cloud Consultant 

Reports to: President 

Work Location/Travel: Remote within Colombia or on-site at client locations. Occasional travel (up to 20%) may be required for client engagements. 

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a driven and passionate Salesforce Education Cloud Consultant to join our growing team in Colombia. In this role, you will collaborate with global experts to design and implement scalable solutions within the Salesforce Education Cloud ecosystem, helping higher education and academic institutions transform their student lifecycle processes. 

You will work closely with international clients and cross-functional teams to deliver tailored, high-impact solutions while contributing to the continued expansion of our presence in Latin America. This role offers a flexible remote/hybrid setup, strong professional growth opportunities, and exposure to innovative, enterprise-level implementations in the education sector. 

Essential Functions: 

• Work with clients to gather and translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce Education Cloud solutions  

• Design, configure, and implement Education Cloud features including student lifecycle management, admissions, advising, and engagement processes  

• Support end-to-end Salesforce implementations, including configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization  

• Collaborate with technical teams (developers, architects, integration specialists) to ensure seamless system integrations and data flow  

• Participate in solution design sessions, providing best practice guidance aligned with Salesforce Education Cloud capabilities  

• Support data migration, system setup, and environment configuration activities  

• Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing system enhancements and optimization recommendations  

• Work closely with stakeholders across different time zones, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout project delivery  

• Contribute to documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer sessions for clients and internal teams  

• Stay current with Salesforce Education Cloud updates, releases, and best practices to continuously improve delivery quality

• Stay ahead of trends through continuous learning and certifications (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle Cloud). 

• Work directly with clients to provide strategic insights and solutions tailored to their needs. 

• Contribute to internal initiatives and help shape our presence in Colombia.

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

• Provide training and mentorship to technical staff to support their professional growth. 

• Participate in the recruitment process, including conducting interviews to assess candidates’ qualification. 

• Assign tasks, set clear expectations, and manage the workflow of project team members to ensure efficiency and quality. 
• Conduct performance evaluations, delivering timely and constructive feedback to enhance team performance and development. 

Work Environment: 

The role may be performed remotely or on-site at a client location, depending on project requirements. For remote work, employees are expected to maintain a professional and distraction-free workspace, including appropriate virtual backgrounds if needed. A reliable and high-speed internet connection is essential to ensure smooth communication and productivity. 

Physical Requirements: 

• Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer. 

• Bending, sitting lifting, driving. 

Required Education and Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Information Science - related field or commensurate experience required.  
• At least 3 years of related experience required.
