At Portable Electric, we aren't just building power stations; we are building the future of clean mobile energy. We are a Vancouver-based clean tech leader replacing noisy, toxic fossil-fuel generators with our silent, emission-free VOLTstack® ecosystem.

We are looking for an East Coast-based Sales Representative who refuses to take "no" for an answer. You will be the front-line of the energy transition, getting our technology into the hands of major players in Film & TV, Construction, Events, and Emergency Response.  

 

What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • Hunting & Closing: Identify new business opportunities in target verticals (Film, Construction, etc.) and turn cold leads into long-term partners. 
  • Educating the Market: You aren't just selling a box; you’re teaching customers how to transition from diesel to electric. You’ll run demos and prove the ROI of the VOLTstack units. 
  • Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring they are maximizing their usage of our equipment and Neuron OS™ software. 
  • Strategy: Collaborate with our marketing and product teams to relay customer feedback and market trends. 

Who You Are: 

  • A "P.O.W.E.R." Player: You align with our core values: People, Owners, Winners, Entrepreneurs, and Revolutionaries. 
  • Proven Closer: You have 5+ years of B2B sales experience in building and closing $million+ deals (Bonus points for hardware, equipment rental, or clean tech experience). 
  • Tech-Savvy: You can explain technical concepts (volts, amps, kWh) simply and persuasively in a customer-friendly way. 
  • Resilient & Self-Driven: You thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment where things move quickly. 
  • Experience: You must have experience selling generators or other relevant Industrial Equipment 
  • Bonus Points: If you have sold BESS systems.

Salary: OTE: $180,000 - 240,000 CAD

Location: This role will work from home and be based on the East Coast and will require you to travel internationally about 30% of the time.
