THE TEAM
Neural Earth's Revenue team is the commercial engine of the business, translating our operating system for physical risk intelligence into market opportunity, pipeline, and customer value. The team spans sales and marketing, sales engineering, customer success and product marketing, in close partnership with Product and Engineering. This team runs fast, works cross-functionally, and is building a revenue motion in a technically complex enterprise space. Your ability to bridge the technical and the commercial is not a nice-to-have here. It is the job.
THE ROLE
Neural Earth is hiring a Sales Engineer to serve as the critical technical bridge between our platform and the customers who depend on it. You will partner with account executives across the full sales cycle, owning the technical win from Discovery through Proof of Value and Close. You can discuss geospatial data formats and cloud architecture with a customer's engineering team in the morning and present ROI to their CFO in the afternoon, and you find both conversations genuinely energizing. HOW YOU'LL BE SUCCESSFUL
Discover: Lead technical discovery sessions with prospects to deeply understand their pain points, infrastructure, and decision criteria, turning what you learn into a technical win strategy the full account team can execute.
Demonstrate: Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations that map Neural Earth's physical risk intelligence capabilities to specific customer use cases and outcomes, making complex technology feel immediately relevant and credible.
Validate: Build and execute proof-of-value and pilot projects using customer data, demonstrating measurable ROI and resolving technical risk before the commercial decision is made.
Enable: Create and maintain technical sales collateral including solution architectures, integration guides, competitive positioning, and technical one-pagers that keep deals moving and objections answered.
Partner: Work closely with Product and Engineering to translate customer feedback and market signals into roadmap input, serving as the connective tissue between what the market needs and what we build.
WHY WE VALUE YOU
You have 3 or more years in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Pre-Sales in B2B SaaS, data platforms, or analytics environments.
You have a strong technical foundation in at least two of the following: Insurtech, geospatial technologies, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), data engineering, or AI/ML.
You are experienced with geospatial tools, databases, and data formats and can speak substantively about how geospatial data gets ingested, processed, and acted on at enterprise scale.
You have a proven ability to design and deliver structured technical demonstrations to both technical and executive audiences. Your demos tell a story, not just show features.
You have hands-on familiarity with Python, APIs, or scripting for building custom demo environments or integrations that bring the product to life for a specific customer context.
You move between technical depth and business impact without losing precision at either end, and customers trust you in both conversations.
You manage multiple active opportunities, keep stakeholders aligned, and do not let deals stall because of gaps in technical follow-through.
You bring a consultative mindset to every engagement. You are genuinely trying to understand fit before you try to close.
You thrive in a fast-moving startup environment where the product is evolving and the playbook is still being written.
You take shared ownership of revenue outcomes. When a deal closes, you feel it. When it does not, you come back sharper.
REQUIREMENTS
3-6 years in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Pre-Sales in B2B SaaS or data/analytics platforms
Strong technical foundation in geospatial technologies, cloud infrastructure, data engineering, or AI/ML (minimum two areas)
Demonstrated ability to lead technical demonstrations and POV engagements with enterprise customers
Experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles
Ability to accommodate up to 25% travel
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $165,000 to $249,000 annually, reflecting progression within the role based on demonstrated growth and impact.
