POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a driven and culturally fluent Bilingual Sales & Marketing Manager to lead growth initiatives for our textile and bag product lines. Based remotely in Texas, this role serves as the critical commercial bridge between our U.S. customer base and our manufacturing operations in Mexico. The ideal candidate brings deep textile or consumer goods industry experience, a proven track record in B2B sales and marketing, and the ability to communicate with equal confidence in English and Spanish — across boardroom presentations, factory floor conversations, and client negotiations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the U.S. and Mexico markets, targeting wholesale distributors, retailers, and branded packaging buyers.
- Build, manage, and grow a pipeline of B2B accounts; own the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract close.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and supply agreements with clients, balancing margin targets with competitive positioning.
- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and client site visits; represent the brand with professionalism and cultural fluency.
- Prepare and present accurate weekly and monthly sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and revenue analyses to senior leadership.
Marketing Management
- Design and implement integrated marketing campaigns (digital, print, trade) to build brand awareness and generate qualified leads in both U.S. and Mexican markets.
- Oversee the development of bilingual marketing collateral — product catalogs, sell sheets, digital assets, and trade show materials in English and Spanish.
- Manage the company's digital presence including website, social media, and email marketing; track performance KPIs and optimize accordingly.
- Conduct competitive market analysis and monitor textile/packaging industry trends to identify new product opportunities and positioning strategies.
- Collaborate with the product development team to align go-to-market strategies for new textile bag lines and custom orders.
Cross-Border Operations & Plant Liaison
- Serve as the primary communication link between U.S. sales/marketing teams and manufacturing plant personnel in Mexico.
- Coordinate with Mexico plant managers on production timelines, sample requests, quality standards, and order fulfillment — conducting all communications fluently in Spanish.
- Translate and interpret technical specifications, product documentation, and client requirements between English and Spanish as needed.
- Travel periodically to Mexico plant locations to support relationship management, quality reviews, and on-site coordination (up to 25% travel).
- Ensure all cross-border commercial activities comply with applicable trade regulations, import/export requirements, and company policies.
Team & Budget Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small sales and marketing team; set clear performance expectations and conduct regular reviews.
- Manage the annual sales and marketing budget; track spend, report on ROI, and recommend resource allocation adjustments.
- Partner with senior leadership on strategic planning, pricing reviews, and market expansion initiatives.
Up to 25% travel required, including domestic client visits and periodic on-site visits to manufacturing plants in Mexico.
