Role Description

The Resource Coordinator plays a key role in supporting freelancers across diverse regions and time zones. This role is responsible for addressing inquiries and concerns from both current and new freelancers, ensuring a smooth working experience throughout the organization. Additionally, the coordinator manages resource-related functions such as onboarding, training & development, and continuous engagement initiatives.

Working closely with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams, the Resource Coordinator contributes to the enhancement of freelancer policies, processes, and practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assesses, recruits, onboards/offboards and develops freelance pools (time-coders, translators, editors, voice talents, etc.), and coordinates testing processes.

2. Keeps resource repository updated and hygienic.

3. Devise and initiate training programs through online training sessions to support global needs.

4. Oversees global freelancer test evaluations and supports global operations.

5. Coordinates payment summary of language evaluators.

6. Initiates onboarding process through an automated system and keeps track of onboarding requests from the global teams.

7. Announces updates; changes in the workflow, technology, terms and conditions, etc., to Freelancers.

8. Registers, maintains and renews questions for recruitment software and enhances whenever necessary.

9. Coordinates test materials and performs necessary market research for new languages.

10. Manages relationships between the company and freelancers.

11. Spearheads annual events and/or gatherings with the freelancers.

12. Observes compliance with defined company policies, procedures, guidelines and drives continuous improvement; and

13. Performs other function-related tasks as may be assigned by the Resource Management Team Lead.

Technical and Functional Excellence - Ability to understand the nature of the business and carry out necessary processes relevant in the performance of the job; Ability to foresee potential issues by being keen on every detail pertaining to clients’ requirements; Ability to understand automation processes and proficiency in Microsoft tools.

c. Building Relationships - Exchanges information with potential freelancers to clarify agreement benefits and potential problems; collaboratively determines the scope and expectations of the agreement so that both areas’ needs can be met.; Collaboratively determines courses of action to realize mutual goals; facilitates agreement on freelancer’s responsibilities and needed support; Implements effective means for monitoring and evaluating the work process and the attainment of mutual goals.

d. Adaptability and Accountability - Ability to accept full responsibility for assigned tasks by demonstrating concern for achieving the required performance standard while getting tasks done in a timely manner; Ability to change in order to work better towards the achievement of the department’s goals, objectives and targets; Ability to adjust and tailor the support in order to meet the needs of the client/s; Having a sense of urgency in accomplishing assigned tasks and being able to properly prioritize tasks according to importance and urgency; Being open to new ideas and changes that could help the company grow.

e. Dependability - Communicates regularly with the team to discuss both work and non-work- related concerns that might affect work standards, and initiates assistance when appropriate; Ability to develop a sense of ownership and demonstrate personal responsibility for achieving the high-quality results team member; Ability to show and influence the team in effectively getting things done and concur with the set company rules and regulations.
