Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented part time Research Assistant to join our team! In this role you will get to support the US Army Research Laboratory in research and development projects for Artificial Reasoning and Human Information Interaction.

Parsons is seeking a STEM candidate to provide virtual support to DEVCOM Army Research Laboratory (ARL).  The ideal candidate should be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and be familiar with Python, Java, Matlab, C++, PHP, HTML, Swift, and SQL.  The candidate will support projects involving deep learning models, object detection, classification, reasoning and artificial intelligence. Specific projects will include focus on causal reasoning and uncertainty of information. Candidate should possess excellent oral and verbal communication skills, be a team player, and be able to work across a diverse team and customer base of scientists, engineers, technicians, military and government contractors and civilians, industry, team leads, and management. 

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Enrolled in Computer Science program at an accredited university
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence and its applications
• Familiarity with some of the following: Python, Java, Matlab, C++, PHP, HTM, Swift, and SQL
• Excellent oral and verbal communications skills
• Ability to work with a diverse team of scientists, engineers, and technicians
• This position requires the selected candidates to potentially hold an active Department of Defense security clearance which requires US citizenship while working in support of a government contract.

Salary Range: $26.59 - $46.54
